Stream: Joe – R.E.J. Bit

Maybe it’s because we’re fast reaching the end of summer, or because—as electronic music is wont to do—some genres are beginning to grow a bit tiresome while others are discovering fresh ground, but lately we’ve been seeking out what we’d call (for lack of a better word) more “adventurous” electronic music. And, with that in mind, this little number from Joe—which is set to see a release on a forthcoming compilation for Untold’s Hemlock imprint—strikes just the right balance between the unexpected and the enjoyable. Simple, effective, and even a touch funky.
