Earlier this year, the Oakland duo of James & Evander (who claims Mapzzz’s own Glenn Jackson to its ranks) unveiled their proper debut full-length, a sweet and swirling ten-song collection entitled Bummer Pop. Now the duo has issued a series of remixes from that record tapping a solid list of dreamy, like-minded beatsmiths including Cascine’s RX Gibbs, Switzerland’s Bam Spacey, and Mapzzz EP alum’s shortcircles and Parentz to twist the tunes into new territory.
