It’s a rare thing here on Mapzzz, when a song cuts through the fray and sticks in our head without a basis in beats or bass. Still, we’re not ones to constrict what we like to such frigid parameters, and this new jam by Vancouver’s No Gold (an indie-rockish outfit) certainly has been doing the trick lately.  ”Hollarp” is a warm, dreamy affair with big, gushing chords and—here’s the kicker—some just gorgeous synth work strewn throughout. Take a listen and get washed away.
