Video: Claps – Glory, Glory
On September 14, 2012
The Moon Glyph label is one of Oakland’s most recent transplants, bringing a needed dose of dense synth-scape wizardry and twisted, Kraut-informed pop to our West Coast city. Earlier today a video for “Glory, Glory”—the title track from the Minneapolis-based outfit Claps’ cassette for the imprint—appeared, serving as a fitting introduction of the Moon Glyph world to the Mapzzz community. We’re sure you’ll see more similarly synth-bent excursions from the label here in the months to come, but for now, feel free to get absorbed in the cascading melodies and hesitant skip of “Glory, Glory” (and don’t hesitate to trip out to the strange imagery while you’re at it).
